Ogres are a minor race of giant. They are less intelligent than their cousins the hill giants, and only two-thirds their height. This species tends to live in caves and feed of whatever wildlife they can catch. Usually though, the neighboring wildlife is a little too tricky and hard to catch for them, so they prefer to raid neighboring villages and settlements for their dinner.
Ogres are tall humanoids who will wear only the basic and most necessary clothing usually made of animal hides. They wield giant clubs, with no armor and no shield. They may have 1 or 2 two-handed weapon experience levels. Some ogres will have a thrown weapon level or two, but this tends to be rare. Inside their homes, some small amount of treasure can be found that came from the pockets of their victims.
Ogres prefer the mountains and forests.

In "Jack and the Beanstalk", the ogre's wife was not cruel or mean. In fact, the ogre's wife gave Jack food on several occasions after Jack complained of hunger.
